Le projet est n\u00e9 d&rsquo;une collaboration entre DAN Europe, <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.neosair.it\/?lang=en\">Neos airlines<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.albatrostopboat.com\/index.php?nav=1&amp;nav2=&amp;nav3=&amp;nav4=&amp;nav5=&amp;lingua=2\">Albatros Top Boat<\/a> et <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.divesystem.com\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=112&amp;Itemid=1&amp;lang=english\">DiveSystem<\/a>. L&rsquo;objectif est de contr\u00f4ler la pr\u00e9sence de bulles de gaz chez les plongeurs pendant leur vol de retour apr\u00e8s la plong\u00e9e. Pour mener cette \u00e9tude \u00e0 bien, des chercheurs DAN r\u00e9aliseront des examens par ultrasons \u00e0 bord d&rsquo;avions Neos.<\/p>\n<p>La division de recherche de DAN, toujours active dans le domaine de la d\u00e9tection de bulles apr\u00e8s la plong\u00e9e, a demand\u00e9 \u00e0 Neos de collaborer dans l&rsquo;exploration de cet aspect des voyages et de la plong\u00e9e, qui reste jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce jour inconnu. Les plongeurs d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui sont en fait l&rsquo;arch\u00e9type m\u00eame du globe-trotteur&nbsp;: toujours en mouvement, pr\u00eats \u00e0 tout pour se livrer \u00e0 leur passion. Il peut arriver que certains d&rsquo;entre eux ignorent ou passent outre les recommandations relatives \u00e0 l&rsquo;intervalle avant la prise de l&rsquo;avion, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire le d\u00e9lai minimum recommand\u00e9 entre la derni\u00e8re plong\u00e9e et la prise de l&rsquo;avion, et n&rsquo;attendent pas suffisamment longtemps, ce qui augmente le risque de maladie de d\u00e9compression (MDD).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La MDD est une pathologie de d\u00e9compression caus\u00e9e par la formation de bulles dans la circulation sanguine ou dans les tissus lorsque le gaz inerte (azote) n&rsquo;est pas totalement \u00e9limin\u00e9 de l&rsquo;organisme. Cette pathologie peut avoir de graves cons\u00e9quences pour le plongeur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour \u00e9viter cette formation de bulles de gaz, les plongeurs qui voyagent par avion apr\u00e8s une plong\u00e9e doivent respecter les intervalles de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Des \u00e9tudes fiables \u00e0 ce sujet ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es par DAN, qui conseille d&rsquo;attendre au moins 12&nbsp;heures apr\u00e8s une plong\u00e9e unitaire r\u00e9alis\u00e9e dans la courbe de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (sans palier), et 24&nbsp;heures apr\u00e8s une s\u00e9rie de plong\u00e9es ou apr\u00e8s une plong\u00e9e avec palier de d\u00e9compression. Ces recommandations sont fond\u00e9es sur des observations r\u00e9alis\u00e9es avant et apr\u00e8s la plong\u00e9e et sur des calculs math\u00e9matiques. Jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, toutefois, les chercheurs n&rsquo;ont pas encore pu obtenir de donn\u00e9es physiologiques fondamentales, telles que celles qui pourront \u00eatre tir\u00e9es des examens r\u00e9alis\u00e9s pendant un vol.
